Dr. Gurcan will be chairing the Histopathological Image Analysis (HIMA) workshop as part of the Pathology Informatics Summit meeting to be held in Pittsburgh, PA May 4, 2015. The speakers will include some of the leading researchers and experts in the field. Histopathological Image Analysis (HIMA) is an unofficial group with the goal to promote and advance histopathological image analysis by organizing a series of meetings, workshops, seminars; by publishing relevant papers, opinion pieces; by giving presentations; by creating and supporting a community of interested parties and facilitating better communication in this community.
